USERJOY Games announced that the Global Closed Beta Test for Angels Online Global starts May 29. It gives players the chance to try out the game early and experience the improvements made. These include the new real-time multilingual chat translation system which lets players communicate seamlessly in-game. The CBT ends June 1.
Global pre-registration for Angels Online Global is now open and there are launch rewards available for those who sign up early. The studio has confirmed that additional events and gameplay updates are to be revealed in the coming days as the worldwide release approaches.
A Long History
Angels Online was first released back in June 2006 and made available for the PC. The upcoming release of Angels Online Global serves a major milestone in the 20 year history of the franchise. This edition faithfully preserves the classic gameplay and world while at the same time offer a fully upgraded experience for modern players. Veterans in particular get the chance to relive the pure excitement of their original adventures. However, they also experience smoother combat, refined progression, and global servers that open the door to a new era of cross-border exploration.
A Classic Returns
The four major factions are back and invites players to fight for honor, loyalty, and belief. Meanwhile, the highly flexible skill system let players freely combine abilities from a vast skill pool and as a result, create personalized builds and define their own combat roles. The extensive wardrobe system helps shape the look of players without restrictions.
A Modern Audience
As mentioned, there are features that have been improved to make it easier for modern players to jump into the game. One of these is the permanent 4× experience rate that dramatically shortens early progression. It allows players to access core and endgame content with ease. Another change is the bag space being increased and the removal of restrictions means exploration is now smoother and more enjoyable.
Another significant change is the built-in real-time translation that supports multiple languages. This allows for seamless communication with players from around the world.
Costumes now drop directly from dungeons and not only make fashion collections more accessible but also enhance the excitement of exploration and challenge. Unused outfits meanwhile can be dismantled and fused to enhance character attributes.
